Community

Welcome to our community space. This is a gentle corner of the internet for autistic people, anxious minds, and anyone who has ever felt different, too much, or not enough. You are welcome here exactly as you are.

Whether you are newly exploring autism or anxiety, supporting someone you love, or simply looking for people who understand, we hope this feels like a safe, steady place to land, listen, and share.

Share Your Story

Your story matters. You don't need to be "good with words" or have everything figured out. You can share as much or as little as feels comfortable. Stories can be joyful, messy, complicated, or still in progress.

If you'd like to share your experience of living with autism, anxiety, or simply feeling different, you can use the form below. With your permission, some stories may be gently edited for clarity and shared on the blog so others can feel less alone.

Join the Conversation in the Comments

Community also happens in small moments: a comment that says "me too," a gentle suggestion, or a kind word on a hard day. The comments on each blog post are open for thoughtful, respectful conversation.

When you leave a comment, you're welcome to:

  • Share how a post landed with you
  • Add your own perspective or experience
  • Offer gentle encouragement to others
  • Ask questions about autism, anxiety, or navigating daily life

We ask everyone to keep this space kind, non-judgmental, and trauma-aware. It's okay to disagree, but it's not okay to dismiss or belittle someone else's experience.

Gentle Community Guidelines

To help this stay a safe and supportive place, please keep these guidelines in mind when you share or comment:

  • Speak from your own experience ("I" statements) rather than giving diagnoses or labels to others.
  • Avoid graphic details about self-harm, abuse, or trauma (you can name that something happened without describing it).
  • No hate speech, personal attacks, or discrimination of any kind.
  • It's okay to take your time. You can step away, come back later, or delete a draft that no longer feels right.
  • Remember that many people here are sensitive or easily overwhelmed; kindness and clarity go a long way.

If you ever feel unsure about whether something is okay to share, you can send a private message through the story form above and ask. You don't have to navigate this alone.
